Paavoharju

I feel the best description I can give for Laulu Laakson Kukista is that it would be the music you would hear while wondering through a lost and enchanted forest. The music is haunting, yet beautiful. I recently also found out that Paavoharju is a collective of ascetic christians which is a very interesting piece of information. I think it's very cool to see christian bands making experimental music like this. Laulu Laakson Kukista is no doubt one of my favorite albums of all time.

This song, My Hopes and Dreams is no doubt one of my favorite songs of the year so far. It gives off this nice vibe of freedom and just being out in the wilderness away from everything and everyone which for me which is what I am wanting to experience more than anything as of lately... Just the freedom to know that you are on your own away from society with nothing there to hold you back. You're just out living life, nothing else. And of course you'd always like someone to share this sort of dream with, but it's very rare to find someone to do so as so many people get caught up in the demands of modern society. I'm sure this song can apply to one's life in a different way of course though.
